Calling all YBR Dance Newtown Kids who are over 7 years old.

Requesting speedy confirmations by Tuesday the 5th June. Please check your child can commit to the rehearsal dates below before registering.

We are hoping to get as many YBR Dance Newtown Kids involved! We may get an opportunity for tricking during the group routine. (There are many other studio's involved).

The kids will meet at a point away from crowds and will be cared and ushered safely to the field by as many YBR teachers the organisers will allow. I think the limit is 2 teachers, but I am trying for 4. So at this stage, definitely Miss Karina and Mr Kelvin. Possibly Mr Marcelo and Miss Anna too.

The routine is simple, all of our kids can achieve it. There is a lift that most of our kids can do but we will need to start practicing asap.

What to wear - Long black pants, blue shirt. (For added warmth long sleeve white shirt underneath). I will send more specific details and samples upon registration confirmation. The kids are representing YBR Dance Newtown and cheering/dancing for Canterbury Bulldogs. So bulldogs colours, girls can splash it up with ribbons and hair pieces.

Game Night - Saturday the 7th July (Performance at half time approximately 8pm)

Where - Belmore Sports Ground (Meeting points/maps sent after registration)

Compulsory Sports Ground Rehearsal - Sunday 1st July @9.30 - 11.30am (Only teachers and kids are permitted to this rehearsal)

Compulsory Newtown Studio Rehearsal - Tuesday the 12th June @ 5-6pm (We may call an extra rehearsal the following Tuesday the 19th tbc). All performing kids will need this time together for stage placement.

Cost - Performance kids free - Parents can buy tickets for $10 each. (I will send this link upon registration confirmation)

Please only register if you allow consent for your child to be recorded, and posted on social media for the actual event and rehearsal dates.

Please note parents will not be able to stay with kids after drop-off at our meeting point, but YBR teachers will be with them for the entire event.
